Today they removed the tube from my mouth, and now I am back to the oxygen through my nose (called a CPAP). Much more comfortable. Here is a picture of me sleeping again.
The big news today was that Ammu got to hold me for the first time. Here is a picture of me nestled up against my Ammu’s chest. They call it Kangaroo care (or “skin to skin”) because it makes me feel warm and reminds me of when I was in her belly.
Also, tonight I woke up while Ammu came to visit… So they put me on my side so that I can see my mommy and hear her talk. It was super fun. Here I am wearing a cute Valentines outfit (not sure why) and looking straight at Ammu.
